We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of a Customer Service Representative within the Service Center Department. The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by ensuring that customer requests are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Main Functions
- Prepare customers’ quotations and invoices and assist with posting receipts
- Ensure that items are correctly supplied, in comparison to computer invoices, before delivery to the customer
- Make recommendations to customers regarding the best product based on the stated purpose
- Recording complete and accurate information on job cards
- Daily balancing of the cashier
- Process rental transactions
- Take calls and respond to customers via the telephone when necessary
- Ensure original Purchase Orders are collected and all charge bills and invoices are properly signed
- Book units for Alternative Energy/ Small Engines Departments for repairs
- Book blades for Saw Doc Department for welding, sharpening and setting
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in the Service Center
- Assist with stock checks and special projects as required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) CSEC Subjects including Mathematics and English A
- Experience in a similar role will be an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with attention to details
- Must be a team player and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
