The candidate will be responsible for providing excellentcustomer service by ensuring that customer requests are met in a timely andefficient manner.
Main Functions
- Greet customers and answer questions about products, pricing and current promotions.
- Provide recommendations to customers regarding the best product(s) based on the stated purpose.
- Prepare customers’ quotations and invoices ensuring that items supplied are correct based on the invoices.
- Ensure scheduled stock checks are performed on all displayed items and depleting items are replenished regularly.
- Ensure all stock check sheets are submitted to the store supervisor for evaluation.
- Ensure all price tags attached to items reflect the correct prices.
- Ensure original purchase orders are collected, and all charged bills and invoices are properly signed.
- Take calls and respond to customers via telephone when necessary.
- Operate as interim cashier when required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) CSEC Subjects including Mathematics and English A
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role will be an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be a team player and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
