Customer Service Representative

The candidate will be responsible for providing excellentcustomer service by ensuring that customer requests are met in a timely andefficient manner.

Main Functions

  • Greet customers and answer questions about products, pricing and current promotions.
  • Provide recommendations to customers regarding the best product(s) based on the stated purpose.
  • Prepare customers’ quotations and invoices ensuring that items supplied are correct based on the invoices.
  • Ensure scheduled stock checks are performed on all displayed items and depleting items are replenished regularly.
  • Ensure all stock check sheets are submitted to the store supervisor for evaluation.
  • Ensure all price tags attached to items reflect the correct prices.
  • Ensure original purchase orders are collected, and all charged bills and invoices are properly signed.
  • Take calls and respond to customers via telephone when necessary.
  • Operate as interim cashier when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) CSEC Subjects including Mathematics and English A
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role will be an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must be a team player and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
