We are searching for an External Sales Representative to assist in developing and maintaining our Tyre Market Brand throughout Guyana. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner who has strong negotiation skills and an ability to represent our brand and showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have the capacity to prove and upsell the brand based on cost per unit/ per km basis
- Collect data in the field, input and manage our tyre tracking software
- Develop a strong understanding of the technical sales process and excel at generating leads, build long term relationships, and close deals
- Maintain strong business relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and identify new potential sales opportunities
- Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business opportunities
- Develop in-depth product knowledge through company provided training and be able to conduct trials and handle objections
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and follow a defined selling process with potential buyers
- Track all sales activities in company CRM system and maintain records by updating account information regularly
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Five (5) CXC Subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English A
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in sales would be an asset
- Technical knowledge in tyres will be an asset (SUV, truck, light truck, forklift and industrial tyres)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
