Procurement & Logistics Clerk

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders from requisition approval to availability for sale in the company’s system. This role requires efficient coordination of procurement activities, maintaining accurate records in the ERP system (Acumatica), and ensuring smooth movement of products throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring that all procurement and logistics functionalities are accurately recorded in Acumatica ERP.
  • Process inventory orders as per order requisitions.
  • Generate quotations for sales departments upon request.
  • Collaborate with the business unit Manager to ensure product pricing is correct from suppliers.
  • Coordinate with AR department to process advance payment requests.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure shipments follow purchase order terms.
  • Work closely with freight forwarders and suppliers to expedite shipments.
  • Maintain real-time updates on the expediting report throughout the supply chain.
  • Verify the accuracy of purchase orders against invoices and bills of lading, including currency rates, duty tariffs, and completing costing sheets.
  • Coordinate daily with brokers, shipping agents, and customs to ensure compliance.
  • Complete landing cost and pricing for received shipments, making them available for sales and transfer.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5 CSEC subjects, with grade 1 to 2 in Math and English
  • CIPS Certification would be an asset
